Wrong turn off the highway from Cape Breton to Halifax for lunch and stumbled across this little gem. Great conversation with the owner and master frier of 40years Donna. Fish and chips was freshly prepared and perfectly cooked. Pop by if you happen to drive by this area

My son requested that this review be written because the fish & chips was AWESOME!The friendly owner clearly knows how to fry. The batter was light and crispy while the thick fish filet was perfectly flake tender inside. The fries were golden & lightly crispy. Homemade lettuce slaw was flavourful though sweeter than expected. Don't let the appearance of the chip stand sway you. It is worth your while.
